Applying Makeup on Your Wedding Day

There are many ways through which women seek beauty. The top two main ways today include the application of makeup and undergoing cosmetic surgery. Cosmetic surgery is popular because it is more or less permanent. It does not take the constant reapplication that makeup requires. However, cosmetic surgery is extremely expensive and can have negative consequences if you do not like the final results. Poor results the first time can result in a series of expensive operations and lengthy recovery times to improve your face.

As a result, many women choose the reapplication of makeup for a much less costly and risk dependent beauty. One of the times when women are most conscious about their makeup is on their wedding day. This is the day that everyone is looking at the bride and assessing her beauty. On her wedding day, the bride feels very self-conscious and wants to look her best. As a result, the bride may feel a little overwhelmed with applying makeup that will stay on all day perfectly. She wants her makeup to look flawless in the wedding photos. She also wants her makeup to make her look stunning, but real and like herself. There are many tips and tricks that brides can use to enhance the beauty of their makeup and their look on their wedding day.
The first thing the future bride should do is select the foundation that is absolutely a perfect match. In order to be a perfect match, the foundation should be applied and blend into the skin in 2-3 strokes. Any foundation of any shade will blend in given time and effort eventually. What makes foundation a good match is how quickly it blends in with your skin. The best way to hide under eye circles is to apply the opposite color before you apply concealer and foundation. For example, if the circles under your eyes are gray in color, then you will want to apply a pink eye shadow and then the concealer and foundation. If your under the eye circles are blue, then you will want to apply a peach colored eye shadow before the concealer and foundation. This will help create a more natural color, while using less concealer and foundation. However, do not use an eye shadow that is more than one or two shades lighter than your skin. If you use a lighter eye color, the under the eye shadows will appear more gray. This is the opposite of the effect of what you are hoping to create. When you are finished, your skin should appear as one even shade.

Another trick that will help your foundation stay on longer is to pat your foundation with a Kleenex before you apply the powder. By patting your foundation with a Kleenex, you will remove the excess oils and leaves the pigment on the skin. Sometimes this removes a little extra foundation, so you will have to apply extra foundation before you pat your face. As a result of this simple patting trick, your foundation will stick around for hours longer than normal. After you apply the foundation, you will want to apply the powder. The best way to apply powder is with a large brush. The powder should be applied very lightly with this brush. This will create a nice layer of powder that does not look like it was caked on.
After you apply the powder, you will want to apply your blush. The blush should also be applied with a larger brush that is about the size of the apple of your cheek. Use the brush to gently tap the color you selected onto the apples of your cheeks and brush back towards the temple. After you are done applying the color, you will want to take a clean makeup sponge and blend the color into your cheeks.

Next you will want to turn your attention to your lips. In order to get the color on your lips to last all day, you will want to apply powder to your lips. Then, use the lip pencil to fill in the lips. Do not put an emphasis on the outline of the mouth yet. Then, put on your lipstick shade, blot, powder, and apply it again. By patting and powdering you are removing the excess wax in lipstick that causes the color to bleed. When you are done applying the color, you will want to apply a lip gloss to the center of the bottom lip.
