Classic Beef & Bean Casserole
There's nothing like a classic dish to satisfy your dinner wish. Beans and beef are the two main staples in this casserole delight that's the ultimate comfort food. Serve along side rice and a salad.
Ingredients
For 4 people
- 1/4 cup(s) salad oil
- 3/4 cup(s) sliced onion
- 16 ounce(s) ground beef
- 1 cup(s) thinly sliced celery
- 1 can tomato soup, undiluted
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 2 teaspoon(s) garlic salt
- 1 tablespoon(s) paprika
- 1 1/2 tablespoon(s) chili powder
- 1/4 teaspoon(s) allspice
- 1/2 cup(s) grated cheese
Directions
- Melt oil, add onions, saut until tender. Add meat, brown lightly. Add rest of ingredients, except cheese, stir with 2-tined fork to avoid breaking beans. Pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole, top with grated cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 30 minutes.
