Many people opt for a quick trip to the dermatologists to tackle those trouble spots. Cryotherapy is another popular treatment where liquid nitrogen is used to freeze the wart and destroy the cells. In other cases, medication is injected into the wart. However, if you prefer to give home remedies a try, castor oil is often used. Simply apply castor oil to the wart and surrounding area every night. The next time you're in the grocery store you may want to pick up some fresh figs. Squeeze out the juice and apply it to the wart a few times a day. Follow this regimen for at least two weeks. Who says there's no reason to duct the issue? Wrap four layers of duct tape around the wart. It should be snug but not tight enough to cut off the circulation. Keep the wrap on for six and a half days. Remove tape for half a day. Repeat procedure for another month.
